2025.12.5

Date: December 5, 2025

Summary

This release introduces several key updates across assessments, College and Career Readiness (CCR) displays, and SAT logic. The MYIGDIS assessment is now available in South Carolina, and multiple bug fixes improve clarity, usability, and performance across science assessments, well-being tooltips, table views, and graduation course logic. Additionally, SAT visuals and logic have been updated to reflect the 1040 cut score in South Carolina. No breaking changes are included in this release.

Breaking Changes

None in this release

New Features

The MYIGDIS early literacy assessment is now available.

  • Supports data ingestion for PK–3 early reading growth indicators.

  • Provides developmentally appropriate reporting views.

  • Released as a stable production feature (not in beta).

Improvements

SAT Visuals Updated to Show 1040 Cut Score

  • Ensures accurate performance level assignment based on the new 1040 threshold.

Bug Fixes

MAP Science Assessment Performance Level Seeds

  • Updated performance level seeds for MAP Science to ensure accurate and consistent performance band assignments.

Table View for Assessments Without Objective-Level Data

  • Added a fallback table view for assessments that do not include objective or sub-assessment information, ensuring users can still view results in a structured format.

Well-Being Tooltips Displayed on Classroom & Grade-Level Tables

  • Informational tooltips for well-being indicators now correctly appear on both classroom and grade-level tables, improving user understanding of metrics.

Updated Data Warehouse Logic for Graduation Requirements

  • Adjusted warehouse logic to correctly display the courses required for graduation, ensuring accurate academic progress monitoring.

Known Issues

  • Continued monitoring of data import workflows for newly added assessments.

  • Additional CCR usability enhancements are planned for upcoming releases.

  • EA's current logic is currently overcounting CTE Completers, who may not have actually earned the certification. The specific issue has been identified and a fix will be in place by the end of 2025.

  • There have been many reports of specific courses not counting for various requirements. This is due to the underlying course metadata being outdated. EA is working with SCDE to obtain an updated file, and long term we plan to switch to using the Satchel API for daily course attribute updates.

    • Please ensure that CCR courses have a grade term of F1 or Y1, as these are the only values accepted in the models.

    • All course metadata will be sourced from Satchel besides for dual enrollment courses. This is due to the fact that dual enrollment course governance happens at the district level and is not captured in Satchel. EA and SCDE are thinking about ways to capture this data in a timely way.
